Mr. Amrendra Ray is an experienced health and development expert with over 20 years of experience in project management, research and development. Specializing in health system, health policy and planning at local, provincial and national levels. Mr. Ray has played a pivotal and crucial role in maternal, newborn and child health, nutrition, reproductive health, research, health governance and development. He services as a Technical Advisor in Women and Children Welfare Society.

In the past, he worked as a project coordinator for ECHO-V project with ADRA, Trial Manager for Low Birth Weight South Asia Trial with UCL London and MIRA Nepal, Technical coordinator for MNH with WVIN, Technical Officer for AFSP with UN-FAO, Coordinator for MSNP with HERD /MOFAGA and UNICEF, Project Coordinator for MNH with OHW and technical advisor with WCWS. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in MCHN, MA Sociology and Post-Graduation in Public Health Nutrition. His cross- cutting experiences extend to education, maternal and child health, nutrition, violence again women and girls, local governance, gender and social inclusion, adolescent and sexual reproductive health and social development.

With a commitment to strengthen the health system, Mr. Ray has been actively involved in major projects including Saving Lives of Newborn (SaLiN) with Laerdal Foundation Norway, Preventing and Responding Early Union and Child Marriage with Girls First Fund Switzerland.Mr. Ray bears the major role and responsibilities for designing, developing and proving technical backstopping for execution of project. Through his extensive career, Mr Ray has demonstrated a profound capability to handle diverse and complex tasks in the sector of health system, research and social development.
